Our Story
Establishment
Established in 2018 by Emily and Jason, JTF Roofing & Remodeling LLC is a family-owned and operated business. Previously, Jason was working as an independent contractor for himself. Emily worked 10 years in the medical field, specifically ophthalmology, until the birth of their second son in 2018. Jason and Emily decided to shift gears in order to support their son’s health complications. Emily runs the day-to-day business operations from home, while Jason manages the sales, crew, and project schedule.
Experience
Jason started his roofing career as a teenager and by the age of 21 leading his own roofing crews around the state. Projects included EPDM, torch down, PVC, metal and every type of asphalt shingle. His experience isn’t limited to the roofing industry, but also includes other home improvement skills such as repair, replacement, or installation of skylights, windows, doors, decks, framing and siding. Jason is detailed-oriented and takes pride in his craftmanship, ensuring every job is completed with precision.
Despite her lack of experience in the construction industry, Emily has amassed a variety of skills from her healthcare background and integrates them into her business practices- customer service, management, compliancy to codes and regulations. She started as a front desk receptionist as a teenager and eventually advanced to a leading position as an ophthalmic technician. Motivated and determined to succeed in the field of construction, Emily manages the business responsibilities at JTF Home Improvement LLC including book-keeping, payroll, banking, and marketing.
Family Values
In the little free time they have, Emily and Jason love spending time together as a family. They enjoy doing outdoor activities with their two sons including primitive camping, riding bikes, hiking, and skiing.
